Hello! I'm a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I earned my bachelor of science degree from Florida State University and a master’s in mental health counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I'm fully bilingual (English and Spanish) and also hold a Master of Business Administration. My professional career has been exciting and rewarding. I worked as an interpreter, translator, and financial analyst for the Panama Canal Commission for over a decade. This was followed by 15 years in marketing and sales for several IT companies in the US. My passion for learning about human behavior led me to a final shift to mental health and coaching. I had the great fortune of living in several countries before settling in the US. My exposure to different cultures and personal experiences as an immigrant have allowed me to grasp the specific challenges faced by the Hispanic community, especially from the female perspective. I also have extensive experience working with individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. I am a social science major with master’s degrees in finance and mental health counseling.
