Hello, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with 30 years of experience working as an independent mental health therapist. I have worked with a variety of clients, individuals, couples and families who have a variety of issues, including marriage , family, depression, attachment and problem solving to resolve life issues. I have also worked with families coping with attachment and adoption issues, stage of life and chronic illness.
My counseling style is person centered and when appropriate, I bring humor to my therapy sessions. My style includes system focused, cognitive behavior therapy, trauma informed and solution focused. I believe in short term, solution focused therapy, many individuals do not need to be in therapy for months to resolve issues that have brought them into therapy.
I offer flexible appointment scheduling. While I have a few openings identified on the site, please know that I am willing to work with you to find a time that works for both of us. Don't hesitate to contact me if you want to work with me.
