Hello. My name is Diedre Shaffer. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I earned my Bachelor of Psychology at the University of West Florida and my Master of Psychology and Counseling at Troy state University. I have been a counselor since 2004.I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults both in individual and group therapy. I have experience working with people in several different settings including correctional, residential and outpatient settings wo have a variety of personal issues such as depression, stress, anxiety, family issues, oppositional defiance in adolescents and addictions. Almost half of my work has been with adolescents.

I use integrative therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavior therapy, Person Centered and Solution Focused approach to help my clients reach their full potential and decrease or eliminate symptoms. I am here to help you through personal issues/struggles so you can be the best you can be.
