I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 7 years experience in private practice. I hold an MA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and an MSW from University of Cincinnati. I hold active licenses in Oregon and in Utah and an inactive license in Ohio. I am trained in Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT, as well as having experience with ACT and Internal Family Systems therapy. I believe in a holistic approach and therefore have done training in nutrition for mental health.
I offer a non-judgmental, caring, and safe space for clients to process emotions and learn skills to manage emotions and communication more effectively.
I am currently only available only on weekends and sometimes I will have Friday times open. For this reason, my practice on Find A Therapist will be fairly limited. I am hoping to focus mainly on short term therapy - issues that might need 1-9 sessions although I am flexible with this.
The pandemic has been a very difficult time and having someone to work with for improved mental health is a necessity for most people. I look forward to sharing part of this journey with you and helping you reach your goals.
