I have been a licensed clinical therapist for 20+ years. My background in medical social work practice working primarily in hospitals and community mental health centers to engage patients in a range of modalities to address issues of adjustment to chronic illness, diagnoses of cancer, caregiver fatigue, family dynamics, anxiety and depression. My counseling style is patient centered and culturally responsive to understand social and cultural factors that impact our everyday behavior, cultural identity and responses to psycho social stressors.

My therapeutic approach includes Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered planning and solution focused outcomes to address your holistic health and optimal mind-body functioning.
