About

Hi there, my name is Diane. I am an LMFT who is committed to helping people through difficult life challenges, and skilled at helping people navigate and manage symptoms of depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, and PTSD. I also have a background working with women who have experienced sexual abuse as children. My approach My approach is to meet clients where they are at. I utilize talk therapy and skill building as well as mindfulness tools and CBT to improve client wellness. I believe that a trusting relationship between therapist and client is very important to achieving positive results. I have also used CBTp for clients experiencing delusional thoughts. My focus In my practice and as a Clinical Supervisor, I have worked with a variety of clients. Since I work in a public setting my clients have varied from people experiencing Depression, Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, and Bipolar Disorder. I am most comfortable working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, Bipolar Disorder, and depression. My communication style My communication style is conversational with a goal of creating a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental environment. I am flexible in my approach to providing therapy while providing containment for difficult emotions. My journey to mental healthcare I was attracted to becoming a therapist because of my own and my family's experience with mental health challenges. I am driven to be a support for clients' healing and wellness. My goals for you I approach goal setting by working with clients to develop their goal plans. We discuss goals for therapy early on in our therapeutic relationship. However, these goals may change and I provide a space to revise these goals as we work together. My first session with you During our first session, I will find out more about the client and what brought them to therapy. Clients will have the opportunity to ask me questions about me and my focus.
