Welcome!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Alcohol and Drug Counseling intern in the state of New Jersey and have experience providing therapy for clients in all different places in life. I have worked in intensive outpatient, substance abuse treatment, higher education, and primary care settings with a wide range of ages and races. My specialties are in working with clients who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, Substance use, Self esteem, and Anger management. Often, these issues are correlated to systemic problems, relationship / family conflicts, shame and guilt, grief or loss, and adjusting to big life changes.

As your counselor, my goal is to work with you as a team on YOUR goals, which can be anything you prioritize such as “I want to understand myself better” or “I want to make a change in the way I think, feel, or act”. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Motivational Counseling as my main approaches but my style has always been to tailor my treatment methods to each client since we know that especially in mental health, one size does not fit all. Most importantly, I absolutely value counseling as a space for no judgment. I will be present with respect, compassion, and meet you where you are. You have already made an incredible step for your health that required courage and determination and I hope to empower you to continue making these steps as I walk with you on your journey.
