Hello! My name is Devon, and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio. I have been practicing for three years in a community mental health setting. I work with a wide variety of clients and support those affected by depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, behavior issues, and self - esteem. I am passionate about providing trauma informed care.

My approach to therapy is client - centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are at and offering support as clients determine their direction of treatment. During the first sessions, I like to spend time building the trust that is needed in the therapeutic relationship. I believe that having a good connection is vital for effective therapy. In sessions, I draw from various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and strengths based approaches. Additionally, I am a trained EMDR provider. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I am very passionate about my work, and strive to convey that through each interaction I have.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with my dog, Izzy.
