About

I am a fully licensed professional counselor practicing in the state of TN, and I am the co-founder of a private practice called Evolve Counseling Associates, LLC. I received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from Furman University and Masters of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University.
The majority of my therapeutic experience comes from opportunities at eating disorder treatment centers, private schools, alcohol and drug rehabilitation facilities, and residential treatment centers for youth with behavioral disorders.

I have a passion for helping specifically women and girls, tweens through adulthood, while they discover their identities and develop their voices. Throughout my professional experiences in treatment centers and private schools, I have worked exclusively with women and girls as they tackle a variety of mental health challenges and life transitions. It is truly a gift to be a part of enriching the lives of women, girls, and those that are touched by them. To me, there is nothing more exciting than watching someone evolve into a healthier version of themselves!

With a client-centered approach, my intention as a therapist is to empower clients to believe in themselves and their ability take on life's challenges. I offer a space for one to be heard, supported, and partnered with as they navigate through their therapeutic journey. Additionally in session, I provide psychoeducation and use evidence based practices that encourage strategies applicable to reaching one’s goals. While my specialty is treating body image concerns, disordered eating, and eating disorders, I also provide counseling for individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and a desire for personal growth.
