I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Illinois with extensive experience in evidence-based approaches for working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families presenting with a range of presenting issues, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, life stress/transitions, family conflict, and behavior concerns. I also have a special interest in working with individuals with medical conditions (e.g., diabetes, chronic headaches, cystic fibrosis, GI issues), including adherence to medical treatments and adjustment to life's changes. I believe that therapy should be goal-directed and collaborative, tailored to the needs of the specific client. My treatment approach has a foundation in CBT, but also considers the importance of context and developmental processes in working with clients of diverse ages and backgrounds.
