Hello, I am Destinee! I am a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with over 5 years of experience providing both individual and group therapy to clients in need. I earned my bachelors degree in psychology from Medaille College and masters degree in social work from Barry University. I have experience working with diverse populations including survivors of violence, individuals battling with severe and persistent mental illness, and those simply struggling with navigating life. There are times in everyone's life that are difficult, overwhelming, and stressful. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment to support you on your healing journey with my clinical experience, as well as my compassionate and empathetic nature. I specialize in addressing various mental health diagnoses, anger management, and trauma. I am fully committed to listen and offer my best professional practices to help you. You can count on my empathetic and person-centered approach toward every conversation we take part in.
