Hello, I’m Dr. Dennis. Are you looking for a psychotherapist with a collaborative, relational style, who uses an integrated approach? I am an LCSW licensed in CT, trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, using a variety of evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Positive Psychology. I work with individual adults, age 18-64 and couples, over a wide spectrum of clinical issues including, anxiety, depression, ADHD, career counseling, life transitions, skill building, relationships, sexual orientation, gender identity, grief, self-esteem, stress management, presentation anxiety and self-care. My areas of expertise and passion include, building/expanding tools for managing your anxiety and depression, life transitions, career change/advancement, the LGBTQIA+ community, couple relationships and the specific issues that executives, health care professionals and graduate/professional students face. I obtained my MSW from Smith College and my MPH from Yale University. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings in community mental health, private practice and university counseling, including Harvard University Counseling and Mental Health Services. I bring a unique background of professional experience in psychotherapy, but also, as a doctoral health care professional, executive at the VP level and as a former graduate/professional student. I bring a true passion for empowering and walking with my clients on their journey to a healthier and more successful life.
