About

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”(Mary Oliver) Life IS precious and certainly wildly evolving and unfolding in context to relationship with everyone and everything in this one life of ours.

I believe that relationships are fundamental to our well-being and the most essential relationship is the one we have with ourselves. That is where the work begins for all other relationships to thrive.

This pandemic is an overwhelming, challenging and chaotic time presenting a great deal of adversity for all of us. Adversity can be a time for reflection, a time to go within. This current season of disconnection, fear and uncertainty can be an opportunity for growth in our lives, and with sound support and guidance, can create conscious awakening, ease suffering and provide us with the courage to go deep and move forward. I have been witness to recognizing that when you change how you look at things, what you look at changes, which pertains to many areas of our lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing for 23 years working with diverse groups of people. I have worked with individuals, couples and families, adolescents, young adults/college students, adults and persons with varying sexual orientations and gender identities.

My specializations include; stress management, health and wellness, gender/sexuality, spirituality, life transitions, life coaching, motivation, self esteem/confidence, coping with emotional and life stressors, compassion fatigue and grief resulting from a variety of losses.

My style is nurturing, guiding, supportive with a person and heart-centered humanistic approach. I promise to gently challenge you to think beyond your comfort zone because that’s where the real growth and transformation occurs.

My practice is e-therapy based and spans coast to coast. I would be honored for you to share part of your journey with me as we embrace the work we can do together. I invite you to contact me so we may explore our sense of mutual professional compatibility. I look forward to hearing from you. Be well, Keep safe and Stay connected.

Peace always, Denise
