Hello!

Over 36 years ago I graduated with a BS degree in Nursing at Walla Walla College. For many years I worked in ICU and ER - I enjoyed working with people in crisis situations but found as I got older that I was missing out on time to connect with people in a deeper way. After many years of high pressure work, I made the decision to return to graduate school to obtain a masters degree in social work. I switched my focus to end-of-life care working as a hospice nurse and hospice social worker and found the emotional connection with others was very meaning and beneficial within my own personal life. The past 8 years I have worked as a certified health coach for a corporate wellness group and also as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in my own private practice.

I utilize my medical experience as a Registered Nurse in creating a holistic therapeutic environment that focuses on the whole person. I work with adults struggling to find emotional balance and self-worthiness. Together we can create a space that honors the stresses of daily living such as raising children, assisting aging parents, grief and loss, negative self-image, weight management/binge eating, difficult relationships and the uncertain "craziness" of life.

I believe all of us at our core True Self contain many qualities such as courage, confidence and compassion. When we connect with our True Self and begin to relate lovingly to those inner voices that have told us for so long that we are "worthless" and "unlovable", we can begin to heal from our pain and shame.

My intention is to offer a safe and supportive environment for self- discovery, managing emotional sensitivity, building distress tolerance, strengthening your voice and embracing your full potential. I look forward to working with you!
