If you are unfamiliar with marriage and family therapy, be assured that you don’t have to be married or bring your family to therapy! As a marriage and family therapist, I help individuals, couples, and families to view things from a systemic approach. This means how family behaviors, including our extended family, community, and other meaningful relationships, influence mental health. My experience includes assisting individuals, couples, and families suffering from trauma, sexual abuse, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship issues, and supporting LGBTQIA+ youth and adults. I work from a strength-based, positive, non-judgmental stance. I collaborate with my clients and work diligently, using experience and research to provide them with the most up-to-date information and tools in mental health.
