I am a New Jersey Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), with over 20 years multi-disciplinary experience in mental health/social service, teaching, chronic disease/ diabetes management support group facilitation. As a professional Counselor who identifies with the LGBTQ community, I am passionate about the provision of gender affirming care and practice.
I work with diverse adult clients experiencing a variety of concerns and challenges including exposure to multiple and/or complex trauma, LGBTQ gender affirming support and advocacy, anxiety, depression, social anxiety, career/life, and older adult transitions.
I am certified in Cognitive Behavior Therapy modalities and Trauma based Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My therapeutic style is characterized as compassionate, person centered and supportive wherein use of Narrative and Solution Focused approaches are often incorporated to address individual client treatment needs.
