About

Hello and welcome to a clear path to healing. It is my pleasure to encourage the following positive coping skills: physical activity, good sleep habits, avoidance of alcohol and recreational drugs, healthy eating habits, time out from the identified stressor(s), laughter, positive thinking, positive self-talk, good social skills, use of stress management and relaxation techniques, artistic expression, self-compassion, listening or playing music, reframing, and mindful/intelligent behavior. Primarily I assist my patients in developing a sense of wellness in the here and now. In my care, you and your child can bounce back from any hardship in life. I am a psychotherapist who adapts seamlessly to changing times. Psychotherapy is an essential health service that has become even more essential during a pandemic. The relationship between you and your appointed therapist is the most critical factor in the helping process. I have provided therapy services for over twenty years of post-graduate experience. I specialize in helping people just like you and your child. I have been trained to identify the various signs of mental health disorders astutely. I feel that emotional health is just as important as breathing. Every individual has a unique story with varying levels of behavioral, social, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being needs. I will honor you and your child completely. I will be the sounding board for growth and change. We will become great partners in your or your child’s journey to wellness. I have and will continue to utilize a myriad of evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), Somatic (Body)Therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques/Meridian Tapping Points (EFT), Mindfulness Meditation, Mindfulness Eating, Positive Psychology, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS).
