Greetings! My name is Demitra Hahnfeld (I go by Demi). I have a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and I am an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) in the state of Wisconsin.

I pride myself on being someone who has “been there,” meaning, I have fought to overcome mental health challenges myself. While no two journeys are the same, it can help knowing that the professional you’re seeing isn’t just speaking from a textbook.

I have spent the last four years assisting people with varying disabilities to navigate both personal and career-focused challenges. My experience is broad and ranges from anxiety, depression, and trauma, to multicultural considerations and acquired disabilities, to memory, focus, executive functioning, and beyond.

My approach is eclectic, meaning I pull from different theoretical orientations and tailor my communication style to your unique needs. I will match my pace to yours. Whether you have concrete goals in mind or you aren’t sure where to start, it is my goal to provide the safe space necessary for you to grow and evolve.

Ultimately, I aim for progress over perfection and learning how to grow through what you go through.
