My name is Deitra and I am a dual licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, in the states of Texas (Lic. #203614) and California (Lic. #104009). In my practice, I focus on personal, relational, familial, professional growth, mental health and wellness. My greatest passion and goal is to empower my clients to operate in the fullness of love, as they seek to live a life of happiness, fulfillment and mental health and wellness.

I believe that you, as the client, are the driving force behind your therapeutic process. As I tell, show, and involve you in the process of growth and change, you will become more confident in your ability to thrive. Because I strongly believe in the importance of family synergy, I assist individuals and families in exploring cultural, contextual, and systemic factors that may be restrictive and limiting, and therefore impact their overall psychological health and well-being.

I specialize in providing culturally sensitive clinical and non-clinical services to assist each member of the family. I provide support with: trauma, separation, relational difficulties, low self-esteem, parent-child conflict, home or work problems. I am solution-focused, offering concrete do-able strategies for problem resolution. I create a therapeutic space that is warm and inviting in order to facilitate healthy dialogue.
