I completed my Undergraduate Degree in Child Development and Family Relations at UNC-Greensboro. I also earned a NC Teaching Certification.

My Masters Degree in Counseling was also achieved at UNC Greensboro.
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
I have been a Private individual, Family and School Counselor for over 20 years. I have also been a Public School Educator.

In counseling, my hope is that you can move forward in a more positive way. Happiness is achievable and life is a journey forward one day and step at a time. It takes courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
I have had the privilege of gaining experience in a variety of counseling settings. I provide a holistic approach to counseling by addressing your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to include cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, psycho educational, mindfulness, and more. I promote growth by offering a safe, accepting atmosphere so that you feel heard, validated, and empowered.
