Hi there, I'm DeCarlos! Hello, my name is DeCarlos Scippio. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients with trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, anger, career difficulties, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage, and I am proud of you for getting started! My approach As a therapist, I teach clients resiliency to help individuals overcome barriers and cope with everyday stressors. I use Talk Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. My focus I work with children, adolescents, and adults to address trauma, depression, behavioral problems, grief, self-esteem building, and life coaching. My communication style To best serve my clients, I create a safe and non-judgmental environment. My journey to therapy Working as a therapist, I am able to use my skills and knowledge to help others. I derive great satisfaction from providing people with support and guidance as they work through difficult issues. I believe that I can make a difference in people's lives, and that is what gives me the passion and motivation to continue in this line of work. My first session with you During my first session with my client, I will work to build rapport and trust and allow them to move at their own pace. We will also discuss why they are seeking counseling and treatment and explore their goals for therapy.
