I am a clinical social worker licensed in the states of Maine and New Hampshire. I have 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings providing individual, marital and family counseling support. I have worked with clients faced with a variety of concerns which include depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders and adjustment issues as well as relationship issues, parenting concerns and supporting those who have experienced abuse.
My approach to counseling includes using cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, interpersonal and psychodynamic therapy in facilitating growth and change.
Addressing difficult issues and facing challenges and changes in one's life can be a very difficult process. I believe in taking a positive approach to this work and focusing on the strengths inherent in individuals, their families and other connections that serve in making this path easier.
