I am a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing in the Indianapolis area for over 30 years. I specialize with Children and Adolescents and Adults with Borderline Personality Disorder. I have worked as a clinical supervisor for school-based, outpatient, and addiction teams. I provided supervision to doctoral students during their internships I have extensive experience with difficult-to-treat clients and psychological assessments. I have provided clinical services for outpatient mental health patients of all ages and conducted psychological testing. I have experience with all levels of care, patient populations, and third-party payers. I was the Research Coordinator for our facility for six years and was responsible for all facets of Clinical Research (e.g., Site Feasibility, Team Training/ Monitoring, IRB, Advertising, Recruitment, Preparation for Site Visits, Working with Monitors, Supplies, Billing, Scale Completion) Our research teams conducted double-blind design and open-label studies for major pharmaceutical companies, in addition to observational and survey studies. I have over 20 years of research experience and I have used my research knowledge to examine practice and outcome data and used the empirical results to develop programs to target high-risk patients and reduce the need for the utilization of psychological services. I have developed programs for Adults with Borderline Personality Disorder and Adults who require a level of care between the routine outpatient programs and the inpatient programs. My experience includes supervising Doctoral students and providing presentations to staff and pharmaceutical companies about the treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder. I am a member of the Quality Management/Quality Improvement and Credentialing Committees. I am CISD-trained and have provided EAP services. I have been a faculty member at University of Indianapolis and taught at IUPUI for almost 10 years.
