Are there times where you feel anxious, stressed, or overwhelmed? We all know that recent times have been difficult for everyone. However, if your mental health is affecting your daily life, then I invite you to reach out to me. My name is Deb Gudgeon and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I am passionate about helping fellow humans find their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create their best lives! I offer a safe, caring, non-judgmental space to hold your story, and I use research-based techniques to process stressful/traumatic experiences and facilitate healing. I am committed to helping adults and children reduce barriers to mental wellness and augment skills that promote optimal well-being. To do this, I use a variety of modalities such as mindfulness, meditation, positive psychology, play therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients with such challenges as anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and low self-esteem. My education incudes obtaining a MS in Counseling with an emphasis in both School and Community from Winona State University in Winona, MN, as well as a BS in Psychology from UW-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
