Hello. My name is Debra and I am a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of experience in working with people who are seeking insight and understanding about what it takes to become their "best self." Folks say that I have a non-judgmental and open way of being with them. I believe that each of us has the inner knowledge needed for wholeness and that my skills provide the means by which the "garbage" thrown into our life-stream by others can be cleared. I've worked as a Hospice Chaplain, Caregiver, Trauma Therapist and Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault clinician over the course of my career and connect easily with those who are wrestling with emotional and spiritual issues. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation, lack of self worth, and transitions of all types.
I use a variety of techniques and interventions and am careful to adapt my approach to your needs. I am trained in Gestalt, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Jungian dream work. I have a spiritual background which would best be described as "inter-faith."
