I recognize the courage needed to take the first step of reaching out for help and stand with you as an empathetic, caring facilitator and guide throughout your journey regardless of how and where that journey began. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I have Masters Degrees in both Counseling Psychology as well as Marriage and Family Therapy. I have spent 30 years helping individuals, couples and families address issues of substance abuse, co-dependency, adult children of substance abuse/dysfunction as well as the many life issues that contributed to these problems. There is so much more to addiction and recovery than just not using. And even if a person has never used, just being raised in an addicted or even a non-addicted dysfunctional family can lead to a lifetime of problems.

I believe that therapy is way to get to know yourself better; to focus on you - to see what is working (your strengths) and what is not – and to do this with a guide who can encourage you, challenge you and help you to overcome the roadblocks along the path to self-discovery and growth.

I meet each person exactly where they are and create a safe, compassionate and collaborative place to grow. Together, we explore and examine who and where you are – how you came to be who and where you are, who and where you want to be and how to get there.

I have been offering teletherapy for quite a while and I have found that it is most helpful to have a live video therapy session each week. So if we work together, we will use that session as our starting point each week. I am available to communicate with you via messaging, voice call or live chat if you need my assistance between live sessions. I check messages a few times a day (each weekday) and respond as quickly as possible.
