Deborah is a licensed clinical social worker/therapist in the State of Maryland with 7 years of experience. The majority of her experience has been working with Anxiety Disorders and Stress, Depression, Codependency, and Coping with Life Changes. She is highly empathetic, a strong active listener and is passionate about empowering her clients to overcome and resolve their problems, needs and concerns. She is intentional about creating a space that feels safe and non-judgmental and to treat every client with compassion and always seeks to understand you. The main treatment interventions that she uses are Psychoanalytic theories to help you understand how your early life experiences have impacted you as an adult and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you understand the relationship between your thoughts, emotions and behavior. She also uses a Solution Focused approach and gives you practical tools and strategies to help you achieve your treatment goals.
