About
Living a satisfying and fulfilling life is in large part dependent on the quality of our relationships both with ourselves and those around us. Our greatest joys and woes are often experienced within the context of our relationships. If there are areas in your life where you are experiencing distress I believe I can help. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where together we can work to increase awareness and better understand patterns, themes, thoughts, feelings and behaviors that are causing distress. With compassion and understanding I work collaboratively with clients to gain deeper insight into themselves and their relationships, build on their strengths, and develop skills that further personal growth and lead to a more enriching life. Theoretically I offer an eclectic approach that differs according to the individual, family or couple. I earned my master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles, and have been practicing since 2011. Antioch’s Clinical Psychology program was designed by integrating the principles of social justice and equitability throughout all courses and clinical work with the intention of developing socially proficient therapists, and that intent was not lost on me. I recognize that every person is unique, and I respect the diversity of individuals, couples, and families, traditional and non-traditional alike. I am trained to work with people of all ages, and I have a specialization in child studies. I am currently treating children as young as age five, into adolescence, and I work with adults across the life span. My integrative therapeutic approach caters to the unique needs of each individual, family, or couple with whom I work.
