About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor in Illinois. I have been a social worker for over 12 years and have worked with individuals with a variety of concerns, including mood disorders, anxiety, OCD, addictions, chronic medical conditions, homelessness, financial difficulties, and relationship/boundary issues. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and CADC certification from Loyola University Chicago in 2010. I love helping people, and I feel it is a gift to journey through triumphs and challenges with individuals I counsel.

I believe in meeting people where they are at and helping them to take small steps or huge leaps in the directions they’d like to go. I generally use humanistic, client-centered, strengths-based, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy modalities. However, my therapeutic approach is based on the individual, and I welcome feedback so I can best understand and address each person’s needs.
