Hi! I have been in the field of social work and counseling for over 10 years. My experience began in residential treatment where I specialized in treating youth from ages 6-20 with complex trauma. I currently work as a clinical administrator in a day treatment facility overseeing the clinical programming. Additionally, I work in private practice where my work tends to focus on anxiety and depression. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages and have found that my clients feel connected to me as I bring a sense of calm in a non-judgemental setting. I often hear that I am easy to talk to and bring a helpful perspective. I generally utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as I truly believe that learning to control your thoughts is essential to managing emotions and ultimately behavior. I also have experience in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused therapy. I firmly believe that it is important to meet clients where they are, explore their goals for the future, and work together to get to those goals.
