I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor in Texas with over 10 years of experience in the field. I received a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Baylor University in 2007 and a Master’s of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas in Arlington in 2009. I received my clinical license in 2014. I have worked for a community mental health clinic for almost 13 years and oversee all of the crisis programs.
I am very empathetic and truly care about the well-being of every one. My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach is typically more short term, so I usually utilize something like Solution Focused Therapy, however, I meet individuals where they are at and will change my approach as needed.
