Hello! My name is Deana and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation (LISW-S) located in Ohio. I have worked in a variety of social service settings for over two decades and have more than 15 years of direct clinical experience. I have been privileged to support clients from all walks of life as they navigate a host of life's concerns.

Feeling comfortable with your therapist is a key factor in your success. I strive to provide a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment for clients. My therapeutic style is compassionate, interactive and supportive as I want you to feel heard and understood. I am also comfortable offering you feedback, suggesting strategies and helping you challenge unhelpful patterns so that you can develop new insights and embrace healthy change.

I specialize in working with clients navigating stress and difficult life challenges including grief and loss, anxiety, chronic illness, caregiving stress, relationship challenges, issues of aging and life stage concerns . I employ an integrative approach to treatment by focusing on client’s strengths and resources while utilizing evidence-based clinical approaches. My approach is solution focused, educational, client centered, and strengths based employing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
