About
I received my Master's Degree in Counseling from Chestnut Hill College. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a Certified Family Trauma Professional (CFTP). I am a PhD candidate, having completed all of my coursework and currently completing my dissertation to obtain my degree. I am a veteran of the US Army and have an affinity for working with members of the military and their families with an understanding of their unique circumstances and culture not often seen in the private sector. I pull largely from the Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) modalities but utilize interventions from a range of modalities, depending on what is needed by the client at the time. I offer a no-nonsense approach to therapy that allows me to build rapport quickly, to allow us to get to the heart of the issue and assist the client in beginning the healing process.
