About

I am a licensed mental health counselor with 11 years of experience. I received my BA from Central College in 2004 and my MS in Human Services with specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2010. I have been a National Certified Counselor (NCC) since 2010 and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) by the State of Iowa Board of Behavioral Science since 2013.

My therapy approach combines cognitive behavioral and solution focused-strategies with the client’s unique needs in the scope of the client’s biological, psychological, social, developmental, and spiritual experiences and goals. I have experience in providing child and adult individual counseling, marriage/relationship counseling, and family counseling in the treatment of depression, anxiety, grief, parenting, and relationship issues.
