Hello, my name is Dawn Salveson. My 15 years of social work experience has focused on teens (15+) & adults experiencing life-transitions, identity issues, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I use a mix of therapeutic modalities, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral, Person-centered, Trust Based Relational Intervention, Internal Family Systems, and Motivational Interviewing.

My passion is working with parents and teens doing hard things, experiencing hard places. Sitting in those situations can be lonely and uncomfortable, and our culture says, distract yourself by whatever means possible. In order to heal, you have to sit in the uncomfortable, for a season. Let me sit with you. I provide a nurturing and accepting environment for you to feel safe, leading you to balance, joy, and a sense of peace.
