About
Offering psychotherapy to help adults manage whatever life throws at them. From once-in-a-lifetime dilemmas to lifelong challenges, I’m here to help you through it all. I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, workplace stress, and many other concerns. I am licensed in NY and WA and can provide therapy services to patients located in either state at the time of session. Using an eclectic style of therapy, I pull from different approaches to meet the needs and goals of each person. Several therapies I gravitate toward, including; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Existential Therapy; focus on open-ended discussions to shift perspectives or re-conceptualize difficult past events. In other instances, I may use a more structured approach using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to track thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so we can understand their interconnectedness to alleviate negative thoughts and emotions while increasing healthy behaviors. Underlying any approach is a culturally competent foundation of empathetic support.
