Are you experiencing difficulty in your relationship with your spouse, kids, family, friends, or co-workers? Guess what, you are not alone. In reality, all people experience relationship problems at some point in life, some of us more than others. My name is David Childs and I have been working with couples, families, and youth for over 20 years. Prior to completing my graduate work at Pepperdine University, I worked for years in construction as well as doing ministry in the Christian Church. Throughout the process of receiving my license as a Marriage Family Therapist, and in the years that followed, I gained extensive experience working with teens and families, as well as with couples and individuals who seem to have lost hope of ever re-connecting. I am a person who has lived a lot of life and has navigated many challenges of my own. I tend to utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach, but with an existential component. If you feel like you have lost connection, let me help you identify some of the thought processes that have put you in the place you’re in, as well as identify some techniques that might get you back to where you want to be.
