Hello, my name is David Presby. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist with 16 years experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings throughout Los Angeles.

I have extensive experience providing services for adults and children on a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, LGBTQ, work stress, self-esteem, OCD, and anger management. I am certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and have successfully worked with patients dealing with abuse, neglect, PTSD, as well as grief and loss.

The foundation of my work with a client is the strength of our therapeutic relationship. I put a lot of emphasis towards building trust and fostering healthy communication. My goals during each session are to promote growth and to build upon the strengths that my clients already have.

Often the most difficult part of therapy is starting the process. The good news is, you’ve already done that! I look forward to working with you and watch as you discover your own inner strength and make the positive changes in your life you have always wanted.
