About
Therapy is unique due to the nature of a therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. It is one that can instill a feeling of safety, promote authenticity, call attention to emotions and inspire hope. It is very important to work with a therapist that specializes in areas related to the presenting concerns that you are bringing into therapy. I specialize in working with clients that have concerns related to communication, relationship or family work, substance dependency, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional regulation. I generally work with ages of 14 and above. Every single person can benefit greatly from working on their mental health. This will likely look different for everyone. It may look like becoming more confident handling discomforting emotions, removing negative narratives that hinder our ability to go after our dreams, or even just learning to live more in the moment through mindfulness practices. I am currently conducting virtual appointments (Telehealth) only.
