My specialty areas of practice include addictions, alcohol and other drug abuse, trauma, depression and anxiety. My orientation is guided by Christian Principals and all of my treatment approaches are consistent and support these values. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I have over 17 years experience in alcoholism and substance abuse counseling.I have specialized training in Trauma utilizing CBT, CPT and CPTC.

As a professional counselor with many years experience, I have found that walking beside an individual through accepting, validating, and understanding them and their needs is essential in order to begin a healing process. I have found that respecting and accepting the people placed in my path provides a base for those individuals to begin to find solutions that are consistent with their beliefs and values. I have worked with individuals that suffer from depression, addictions, anxiety, and trauma and believe that everyone is able to find a new path in life no longer letting painful or difficult experiences prevent them from encountering a life worth living.
