About

I am a licensed mental health therapist in the state of Washington. I have more than 30 years of experience working with addictions, depression, anxiety, and all other mental illnesses. One of my primary focuses is on recovery from trauma. This includes emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, and neglect, in both childhood and adulthood, and its relationship to addictions. I also practice hypnotherapy when appropriate.

I have been told many times that my counseling style combines my intelligence, intuitive sense, gentle-ness and "real-ness" in a way that engenders trust and produces results. I am non-judgemental and able to adapt my approach to any type of person and any type of need. I work well with all genders, and people from any type of background. I have an affirmative approach to LBTQ issues and challenges.

My therapeutic approach is humanistic-existential. I believe that everyone has their own answers and can become truly and fully expressed as who they really are. My job is to help you realize that you are truly worthy; and become a confident, successful, and wonderful one of you.
