I became a licensed clinician after teaching sociology and social work in the university. In addition to my LCSW, I have a Ph.D. in Family Relations and Human Development. My academic training has served me well with both my private patients and my work in hospice. I understand that you may have not worked with a practitioner before, that this process may be new and difficult for you. Regardless of your experience in therapy, you have taken the first and most important step by reaching out for help. Together, we will go one step at a time, at a pace that is comfortable for you.
