About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I have 13 years of experience as a therapist and am board-certified in telemental health. I take a personalized, integrative and collaborative approach to counseling and psychotherapy, utilizing a wide array of techniques from depth psychology and individual psychology, narrative therapy, trauma-informed and person-centered therapy, humanistic and transpersonal psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and others. I also believe in the power of expressive arts therapy and often incorporate music, art and poetry.

I am well-versed in the treatment of depression, anxiety, addiction, and other mental health disorders. I also assist clients with issues such as life transitions, confidence and self-esteem, identity development, motivation, burnout, adjustment, relationship problems, grief and loss, and other life challenges.

My undergraduate degree is in music from the University of Miami. I earned a master’s degree in Liberal Arts from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where I studied the confluence of Psychology, Philosophy and Religion. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Florida State University, with a concentration in clinical social work.
