About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor that has been practicing in Florida for the past 7 years. The clients that I work with have a range of concerns that include impulsivity, depression, concentration difficulties, anxiety, unstable interpersonal relationships, mood swings, sleep issues, and chemical dependency amongst others. I have provided counseling services in both outpatient and inpatient treatment centers with individuals in adolescence up through middle adulthood.

I believe in imbuing the counseling experience with compassion, dignity, and respect for a person’s individuality and lifestyle. My approach is founded on Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCT). As such, in my work I work to identify and implement practical, skill-based solutions, rooted in mindfulness, to help a person achieve their treatment goals.

I acknowledge the courage and strength it requires to address difficult, and at times painful, states of mind. And yet, there can be no authentic change without difficulty. It would be my privilege to step forward with you into this paradox of change and find the answers that await you. One mindful moment at a time.
