I am a Therapist and have been providing mental health services for 2 years in outpatient and in home settings. I see Individuals, Groups and I address Addiction / Substance Abuse, Alcohol use disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Opioid Use Disorder. I have experience working with clients who have mental health challenges and/or addiction issues. For those clients who have an addiction challenge in addition to individual therapy, group therapy including support groups such as AA/NA may be needed. MAT (Medication assisted Therapy) may be recommended for those with OUD. My therapeutic stance is collaborative. To me the counseling process begins with mutual respect – meeting each person, where they are at , to create goals for where it is they envision themselves in their lives. I use a variety of treatment modalities such as CBT, Solution focused, MI, Client Centered, and Integrative Therapy.
