A little bit about me: My name is Darcey Locke and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. I have 20 years of experience in the mental health field, 12 of those years have been devoted to providing mental and behavioral health therapy to individuals, groups and couples in various settings. I earned my Master's Degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2005 and I earned my license in Clinical Social Work in 2012 (lots of hard work). I utilize a person centered, life stage, trauma informed and strengths based approach to help people to face life's ups and downs. I am trained in Motivational Interviewing, Stages of Change, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Trauma Informed Care, and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. My mantra/s (yep I'm a mantra girl) is "Life is the ultimate pop quiz" and "no mistakes only lessons." I believe that YOU are the expert in YOUR own life and I am a travel companion in helping you to find what solutions work best in your life.
**It is helpful to add that I only work part time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 PM to 8 PM. If this does not fit in your schedule, do not worry, there are tons of committed and competent therapists on this platform that can help.
