Hi! I am Darcey and I am licensed in Texas with 6 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with coping with addictions, trauma and abuse, & motivation, self esteem, and confidence in several different settings. I also have experience working with depression. I like to cultivate a come as you are setting. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is working with thoughts, feelings and actions. Thoughts lead to feelings and feelings lead to actions. As we look at those thoughts and feelings we can begin to change the outcomes. Mindfulness is the act of being in the moment. Mindfulness decreases stress and anxiety. Utilizing mindful meditation as well as focusing on the breath or grounding techniques can help keep us in the moment.
