About
Life is a complicated and often overwhelming experience. Stress, anxiety, and depression are common reactions to abnormal circumstances. It’s easy to get lost in the motions of everyday life- managing your career, relationships, and responsibilities often take precedence over your mental health. I believe that you already have what it takes to be better adjusted and more content. I will help you strengthen your existing coping mechanisms and learn new strategies to reframe your perspective. You will become more in tune with your emotional needs, learn how to communicate them effectively, and distinguish what no longer serves you. My roots as a Dialectical Behavioral Therapist (DBT) and 6 years as a supervisor of a family therapy program have influenced how I treat the individual. Your life experience and circumstances have shaped you into a complex, multifaceted being, with unique needs for self-actualization. My tailored process combines behavioral change strategies, mindfulness techniques and validation. The resulting environment creates a transparent, collaborative and non-judgemental relationship where change can be fostered in the present moment and then put into practice in daily life. My goal for you is not just to survive, but to thrive. With my guidance, you will be better equipped to manage your emotions, set healthy boundaries, prioritize your values, and achieve a truer sense of self. You have one life to live and I am here to help you make the most of it.
