About

I am a clinical social worker with 30 years of experience in New York State. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, but have an expertise in trauma, sexual assault, childhood abuse and the impact into adulthood as well as bereavement. I have also helped clients with depression, anxiety, family issue and many more concerns.

My counseling style is client centered, meaning I am a guide in the healing process. Clients find me warm, caring and non judgmental. I believe that clients are the expert of their lives and I can help them when they feel stuck. I can help clients find solutions to challenging problems as well as develop skills needed to live a healthier life. I use a variety of techniques borrowed from different types of therapy. I use this eclectic approach recognizing that all people are unique and one type of therapy does not work for all people.

I believe that people have the strength to create change in their lives . My role is to carry the hope when people feel hopeless and to help empower clients towards health.
