About

I am a licensed professional counselor currently licensed in Mississippi and Texas with over 7 years of experience working directly with clients. I have worked with individuals who present a wide range of concerns including depression, symptoms related to bipolar disorder/schizophrenia, anxiety, familial and relationship-based issues, parenting problems, and ADHD. I have worked with a variety of age groups including adolescents, collegiate-aged individuals, and adults.
My therapy style is person-centered and narrative-based. I tend to approach counseling from a perspective of “whatever one brings into the room is what we will handle”. I believe in treating everyone with compassion and respect and as if they are human beings. Treating others as less than is simply not in my nature, and I seek to create a welcoming experience to counseling for all. Therefore, I seek to tailor each counseling experience to the client that is present and allow clients to assist in directing their care throughout the process.
